The dual processors is a great idea for battery life... I spend the majority of my time with the OQO using internet and listening to music - [windows mobile]. And I like the USB B on it as well.

I might be able to put up with the lack of built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, although I use both frequently. (I'm using the Bluetooth right now for my keyboard.) The lack of a built-in keyboard and the overall size of the unit would be a problem for me though.

tnkgrl,
You said it, hope it does not share the Psion fate.
Smart phones have the WM5 functionality built in, and with Bluetooth or a USB cable and MS ActiveSync, my iMate KJam and OQO stay in sync with little or no effort on my part. Best of both worlds. The always on functionality of the iMate, the power and Windows XP flexibility of the OQO. And size is not an issue, as I have more than one pocket, and they are both small enough to fit into any of them.
The Dualcor is a device that has potential, lots of potential. In my opinion, it has yet to reach its potential. Time will tell.
A 191 mm long device will fit into a jacket pocket, and it would be nice to see such a device on the market. It will not however fit into a shirt pocket, as does the OQO. Although I am the MD and Technical Director of my company, I do not wear a jacket for at least 6 months of the year. Temperature yesterday 38 Celsius, and that was cool compared to the two preceding days. Only fitting into a jacket pocket for me might as well be a laptop. The Dualcor is too big for my uses, even the Sony UX is too big for my uses. Devices that do not fit into a shirt pocket are for me no replacement for the OQO, the Vega, and a few as yet concept devices out there. If I have to carry it in a bag, I might as well have a Fujitsu P1610 or even a 10.6” or 11.1” laptop.
The Dualcor is incredible, although from my point of view, I find it has the wrong mixture of technology. Drop the dual CPU, add HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and a keyboard, and shave a few inches of the size, and you have a winner.
But wait, I already have such a device, the OQO with an E220 modem.

For the OQO really needs to redesign their keyboard completely as it should be a touch type design. Any type of thumb input is just not ideal for an XP device. The Sony is huge and bulky like most every UMPC. The only promising device but yet to be sold in US is the Samsung sph p9000 as it fits in your pocket and has true touch type keyboard. While there is no one form factor for all; there is a huge void for a jacket pocket touch type keyboard computer. For me pocket devices are just not adequate as they do not have good input as they are all thumb devices and that is ok for some whom just access data but are not heavy document creators etc. There are millions like me that hate laptops and would love to have a jacket size option as that avoids a computer bag.
The Dualcor's advantage is the dual CPU as it will last so much longer than devices just running XP. A good percentage of time Windows mobile will work but there are times where software is only available for XP. I think that combo is ideal for long mobile battery life and flexibiity.
There is rumor that Dualcor is working on a new version with a real touch type keyboard integrated into the device! Whom knows, I hope it comes to fruition and is sold this year!
