The title should be "OQO Holds _A_ Patent..."
The patent was filed May 30, 2006 (!!) and references all kinds of (even slightly) similar designs and patents going back to 1993. I suspect this is like the patent for the "Ultra personal computer with slidable monitor and thumb keyboard," which obviously didn't stop others from designing their own devices that would fit the same description.
