Well, my OQO is working reliably, so I'll be taking it with me to Ireland tomorrow. I've been upgraded to first class on the first leg and will have a chance to flash my new toy for the bigwigs.
I've got Network Stumbler installed and plan to cruise around the Salt Lake City and Atlanta airports, looking for unsecured WiFi connections.
I'll have a chance to see how security deals with this thing. Hopefully they'll just shrug it off as a PDA. Hopefully it survives the X-ray machine.
I'll probably rip some DVDs to my external HD for viewing in the hotel room, but I probably won't use the OQO for watching movies inflight since my spare batteries haven't arrived yet.
I haven't loaded any entertainment software yet, so it will just be boring FreeCell if I get the urge to play a game.
We'll see how the power supply deals with 240V/50Hz.
Wish I had GPS map software for Ireland.
I'll keep ya'll posted.
