fast, has a hard drive, high res screen, wifi and edge nice, track stck works well.

Complaints:

keyboard needs taller keytops and a more uniform backlight. should have a shift and ctrl buttons on the right side.

Suspend and restore are very slow. Applications can hang during shutdown causing system to continue running.

screen resolution is high but nnnon standard. needs a brightness button.

eternet should be onboarrd not through dongle or port replicator.

preloaded software eats all the phsical RAM causimg massive swapimg. Neeeds better Win XP integration.

needs a hard case and external battery charger. Should ship with re-usable screen protector.

would be nice to have a stand built in.

UX180. The UX90 comes with the stand and doesn't have all the spam-ware. The UX50 and UX90 don't have EDGE, but have a built-in CF slot.
FYI, it's "jeers."
The brightness setting is in the VAIO Launcher, but, when you move out into bright sunlight, it's hard to see the screen to adjust it. A set of keys to do so would have been nice.
