Handtops, UMPC - Dos Programs with OQO -

I have a couple of DOS programs that I would like to run on the OQO using cmd or command.com. However the screen becomes almost blank and I cannot see anything. (You can download the program vsccp15.zip in this site link and run it to see what I mean) I can only run these programs under dosbox which is slower and I cannot use the full screen. I would appreciate any help on setting the OQO so I could run these programs. Thanks.

My thoughts ar that the software is trying to write directly to the screen hardware. Since you have to run in a DOS box all the characters have to be transformed into windows graphic characters. Are their any other DOS programs that will run? How about DOS edit text editor?

You might want to try to use DOSBox, it's meant to run DOS games, but it might work.

If not, you can always try vmware and install DOS on it. (It's a free download now for vmware server)
