The OQO is capable of booting from an external USB CD or DVD. While it's booting you may need to us the (fn)2 combination to get F2 and thus into the BIOS setup routine to make sure that it's looking for an external CD drive.

Yes, but I have tested a least seven externat CD/DVD units with no result. Some model you have that works?

Your 01+ has a hw issue if you cannot boot it with 7 different types of external CD/DVD drives.
Frst, if Expansys is not helping you, contact OQO directly and reference this forum thread.
Second, write down the model numbers of each of the 7 external CD/DVD drives you tried boot your unit with for OQO's support team.
If anything, this is your issue. Simple.
Loading the OS is straight forward once you can get your 01+ to boot from an external device.
OQO stands behind their product. Expansys su*ks if they cannot help you out because their primary job is to support OQO customers outside of the US. Report them to OQO with your steps to get them to assist you.
BTW, send this forum thread to sales @ expansys .com and see if that gets them to help you out.
Good luck!

This may be a stupid question, but have you checked the BIOS to make sure that the CD-Rom is a higher boot priority than your hard drive?
