Handtops, UMPC - Dualcore available in a few hours.

Can someone point me to the web address to get my dualcore by this week.

The CEO and others had promised that today is the day so I have my credit card ready to go. So many people have cried "vaporware" however I take the folks at dualcore at their word.

I am so excited. As soon as I find the website to order I am putting a rush on my order so that I can have it by 3/2/2006.

I knew it. There is no dualcore website to make purchases.

They have just made a buch of empty promises.

(This was to be the end of it however people started posting comments that attempted to clarify dates and all sorts of other issues.)

(Comments made assummed that dualcore was going to exist one day it was just a matter of time before it happened.)

(I think he the release of the Organism UMPC will be the last nail in the coffin for dualcore.)

OQO slipped its launching many times b4 it eventually made available. Dualcor's case would likely be similar.

I do in my heart beleive that the Orgasm PC's killed any chance dualcore ever had.

I think its just now about the remaining officers of the company trying to raise money while they still can to continue paying salaries. They know that they are dead ducks.

I think the reason MS didn't include the OQO, et al is because the UMPC is a specific platform. The OQO, Sony, and DualCor fit in the same general category as UMPCs, but they're not UMPCs as defined by MS & Intel. The unfortunate consequence of this is that even the best articles have headlines that could be read as though the UMPCs are the first of their kind.

OQO was not included because it would outshine by a wide margin these other devices. I think that at the end of the day people want a very small and slow PC like the OQO rather than these large, ugly, keyboardless monsters released. Did you see the one with the swivel keyboard. What a freak that was.

OQO doesnt belong in this group.

Also, I think that it was a matter of OQO deciding not to be in this group rather than the other way around.
