Dualcor calls their device a "Handtop."

Did you trademark the word?
I use to struggle with the word Handtop and was in favor of uPC. With the UMPC release, the name Handtop now seems more fitting.
I think anthonyb also used Palmtop, which also sounds right.

well, this is revolting. Their biggest target market is self employed mobile knowledge workers and we're all (well, mostly) just going to buy 1 unit at a time. Except we can't. Guess now I wait and buy oqo model 2 or one of these umpc units.

I believe OQO went through a similar phase before it is available to individuals. Seems like things are proceeding - just a lot slower than they claimed to be.

OQO sold direct to individuals while they had more than a dozen corporations/hospitals/etc review & test Model 01 way back? hmm, don't think so.
