I spoke to a gentleman today who has the Dualcore available. All you guys holding your breath better go topside and get some air. The price I was quoted was $1,989, ***yes $1,989 not the $1500 we were first quoted***

He also said that the unit that sells for $1500 doesn't have WIFI and doesnt have any warranty. I really don't know whether I should be mad at Dualcor or the bearer of the bad news. In fact, hey I don't even care about this company anymore, Dualcor that is. The extra $498 is for the warranty and a WIFI attachment. Excuse my tone but the CPC can kiss my azz.

Westwood is very reputable company from what i see! Either way why are we jumping at DualCor? Price is always STRIPPED! Heck look at the Samsung Origami $1400!!!! Thats a ripoff!! NEXT!

you didn't look hard enough its down near the bottom in alphabetical order.

I think what is really being jumped on is the pricing and the wierd roll out of the product.

Personally I think the price isn't a big deal, these kinds of things are unique and I don't really mind paying a one time high entry price.

As of Moday they didnt even have any in stock (10 day lead time) and wasnt clear on pricing until 1pm EST. General Custer says he ordered since Friday, March 31, 2006. Once he gets his CPC he will go down in Handtops history and I will be the first to say HE IS DA MAN!

I can't live with aa stripped down version. I need those thing that the US government wants removed from their ruggedized cPCs.
