First of all, let me say that the server was down for a fair bit due to a scheduled move. I didn't foresee (but should've known) that we'd run into as many snags as we did. Regardless things are back up. Thanks everyone for your patience.
Second, I've added a few simple features to the site. Any threads with a certain number of posts will be promoted to the front page (don't abuse or your thread will be erased). You're all very good good at sharing your knowledge and experience, so putting you in control of the news by featuring your news findings, questions and answers on the front is a great idea.
Also, you can rate posts positively. I may work in a negative post rater as well, that would minimize any posts below a certain threshold. Aside from a few bad incidents, I'm not sure this would be THAT useful, so I'll keep it off for now. In the meantime, you can rate a post as useful. Eventually I'll be adding nice graphical changes and other things to denote those posts that are particularly useful. It's also a nice way to see what readers think of your post.
Of course, I'm always open to suggestions/critiques, so let have it. Thanks again for your patience and understanding with the downtime.

I like the changes Captain. I have noticed, however, that the old "+" link which allows you to edit your own post does not appear to be functioning now. Can you check this out?
Also, would it be possible for us moderators to have the ability to edit a post instead of completely deleting it? On another site where I moderate, this is possible and precludes the need to completely delete a post that just has a minor problem. Also on that site, when the moderator makes the change the post is tagged with information to let everyone know which moderator made the change, that way there's no confusion. And if there's a question the proper moderator can be identified.
Is something like this possible?

Since the main homepage seems to have focused now mainly on forum activity, I would love to see the rss feed amended to show forum updates, or maybe a separate feed for news and one for forum updates. Just my opinion, thanks.

Font page posts list the last poster as the author, but quotes part of the originator's post without attribution. It would be nice to list original author and latest author.

1. I'm confused by the main page.
So does the thread make it to the front page because it's highly rated or because it has the most hits?
At most other forums, really good threads become stickies.
I like the way it was with news articles on the main page.
2. I like the new features and mensrea's comment above also.
3. On the main page on the "Latest forum activity" area, I miss seeing where or what discussion forum each thread was posted (e.g. GNRL, SONY, OQO, BUSE, etc.)
4. For each post, I've notice that you cannot see if a post was edited or not.
5. On the top bar, I noticed that there no longer is a link to the Blogs
Reviews • Comparison • Forum • News • CONTACT • SEARCH • RSS

The "+" symbol to edit now is above your post on the same line as your name to the right if you need to edit, delete, etc. your post.

I know where it is. It wasn't working earlier. It has since resumed functioning properly.

Folks. I do like the new design and the placement of posts in what seems to be a more logical set of catagories.
One question: What does the "Storage" tab do?

Thanks fil, submit blog links are on the main menu as well for access on every page.
MeanSquare -- Storage is basically a bookmark for storing articles. For example, if you found a really interesting blog, you can click the store button and have quick access to it via your storage page.

Now that the forum activity table has the horizontal space for it I'd like to see original poster in addition to latest comenter as it can sometimes be a better indicator of how relevant I will find the thread. I'm not sure how you would indicate the difference between commenter and original poster, maybe just put it on the right since there seems to be space, with tooltips saying something like "Originally posted by Wibble on 2006/06/07".
It would also be helpful if the RSS feed had the forum prefixed to the title, and the name of the poster in the body (i.e. "Wibble Says:" appended to the body). Also could you remove the anchor tags to the last post so I don't have to scroll up every time.
