See this is the start of what i'd like apple to do...

I'm a bit curious why an active matrix on such a device? Surely a passive one would have been cheaper and a bit more user friendly for people like me who seem to enjoy loosing stylii.

Stevie boy, i'll buy one of your ipods if you make me pretty baby tablet device (~5") to dock it in.... Put a socket in there for an apple built phone too. Then i'll get all three things.
Then i promise i'll buy all three devices.

I've seen news articles on this, and most say the same thing- the promos they are showing look like prototype mock-ups, and the time-to-market on this seems incredibly unbelievable. In other words, until its seen in the wild, I wouldn't be thinking it is anything other than vaporware.
