VIA announced a new support chip for the C7-M processor. Dualcor will ship in Q3 when VX700 chip ships link

Sounds good but will the Dualcor end up being less expensive and without the ice cream sandwich look. Only time will tell.
I'm patiently waiting for the Averatec AHI, the newer tabletkiosk umpc(to be announced in 6 weeks), and the samsung umpc due out this fall. Whichever one has the small size, right specs, and the decent price will get my moulah.

They always were using that chip anyway so this aint new news.

But now we know why the product has been delayed, and have a rational expected date.

I have never thought this was a strong product, but I like to understand the rational for delays.
