I just ordered the flashed based UX from Dynamism. Anyone else placed there order yet? I have a 180 and a 280. Would probably sell reasonably, if someone was interested. I am really excited about having the flash based UX

Oh my goodness! That HTC Advantage is looking pretty sharp. Thank you for letting me know about the keyboard for the OQO and Sony. While both devices look like a dream to use, for what I need, it wouldn't have worked. When I'm writing, I don't always get a flat surface. The Jornada can sit on its case in my lap and work just fine. It looks like the HTC might be an option.
Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Kirby

Here's a silly question, is the HTC Advantage for sale in the US?
Thanks!

You can pre-order it from Mobile Planet for $1,214.95. You could probably call them to get an ETA as well.

Thank you, MeanSquare. I am very sorry that this discussion deviated from the UX390n. That product is exciting for those can use it.
Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Kirby

Yes. The 180. I will take $900 for it. Or, $800 without the dock.

Anyone interested in a very lightly used UX390N? I bought one and a FlipStart and I've decided to keep the FlipStart. Will be putting my UX390 on EBay, but thought I'd check here first to see if anyone's interested. Thinking of selling it for $1,700.

Maybe...
I've been considering an imported UX91 (with CF instead of Edge)
but also HDD instead of SSD (upgrade when big SSDs are cheaper)
$1700 is a good price point; if its still in good shape.
I'm still trying to determine if any of (UX/FlipStart/etc) will fit well enough in pant or coat pockets
that I'd be comfortable lugging it around. Even "deep pockets" have their limits.

Zaurus : link
this might NOT be what you're looking for, but the machine I replaced my J720 with
was smaller, lighter, less bulky, sharper and brighter screen, smaller keyboard but
excellent tactile response. And a lot cheaper than the oQo any Sony.
Bad news is... Sharp just recently stopped making them.
And they run Linux.
for Word Processing, note taking, email, etc, the bundled software is decent; plenty of 3rd party software support; and they work with most 'standard' USB and CF devices.
I really shouldn't recommend that you jump ship from one failed product line to another,
but you probably could find a Zaurus new for ~ $400, or used for much less than that.
In contrast, most of the "current generation" machines are either hugely oversized
or have keyboards that are far less friendly.
