When you install XP it will replace Linux. Your hard drive is not large enough to contain both XP and Linux.

I am typing this on my new Asus Eee PC 8G. It's a cute little machine. I still haven't decided if I should switch to XP Pro. Is there a huge advantage to switching? I'm not tech savvy and I'm not sure of the advantage either way. Currently the webcam cannot be used for on-line. If I switched to XP, would I be able to then? Or is there an instant messenger that I can download to a Linux OS machine that I can setup the webcam? Sorry for all of the questions, but I want to make sure I'm using my machine correctly.
Thanks!

I just read that the so-called webcam doesn't have the drivers to be used on-line. Note to Asus: THEN DON'T CALL IT A WEBCAM!

I think you be referring to a cell phone thing here, I believe jkkmobile is referring to the memory size of the model. (Ie 4 gigs)

ecsk2,
I bought my Eee PC on newegg. I like it, but now I'm really thinking that I need to upgrade to XP Pro. I am not very computer savvy and I'm quite nervous about doing it.
A couple of questions:
If I download XP, will it wipe out all of the games Asus had installed, the e-mail, anti virus, and Open Office?
Will I be able to download Explorer 7?
I am registered at the EeePC User forum, but they still haven't e-mailed me my password to be able to post at that forum.
Thanks!
