Does anyone know any registry hacks that would make the click down action of the trackstick perform a left click?
Right now it does nothing when you click the trackstick, and it would be great if I could turn that into a left click.
Thanks!

Wow, you mand me look; I didn't realize the track stick had a click down. Yea, that would be great.
Your assignment, should you chose to accept it, is to figger out a way to make the down click of the track stick useful!

I recall in one of the post Kamodt said that Flipstart leaves that feature out since it will make the mouse pointer unstable.

I remember the post, but I still want to be able to use it! I looked at the registry, and there is a NumberofButtons entry with a value of 2. I set it to 3 and didn't notice a difference. I gotta think the driver supports it...

Although left click would seem the best use for it, if it causes frustration because it causes the pointer to move, well there are any number of other useful things.
Why not a user assignable shortcut? That way you could have a quick link to your favorite app.

Everytime I "pretend" to click the trackstick, the mouse pointer does not move at all.... I don't understand why they would not have at least left this as some type of optional functionality. I mean, you can customize the trackpad this way to sunday (it has become a nice scrolling mechanism for me btw by fully increasing the scrolling regions).
