I use my Flipstart for a lot of gaming, especially RTS so thought I would do a quick list. These games all play perfectly with some able to be left on high settings. if anyone has any questions, feel free. I am not sure how many people realise the potential for gaming on this device.

Command & Conquer Tiberirum Sun / Firestorm expansion
Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge expansion
Command & Conquer Renegade
Total Annihilation
Age Of Empires Gold
Half-Life
Deus EX

I have just found that GTA San Andreas is playable on the Flipstart (after lowering the draw distance a little). This is extremely surprising considering its high requirements and minimum 64MB dedicated graphics card. It is also helpful to enable ''Mouse steering'' and turn off ''Mouse inversion''.

Serious Sam
Machines At War
Starcraft
Warcraft 3
Halo (low settings)
Swat 3
Swat 4
Homeworld

All of the above run perfectly although I don't think Homeworld will be much fun with the small screen lol.

I have installed about 16+ games along with their expansions and patches and have only 1GB free space left now. I look forward to my 60GB replacement hard disk arriving and I will write the current disk image direct to it using Drive Snapshot. I am very glad for Windows XP NTFS compression

All of these games are much more playable using a Mouse and I also use this USB mini Nano keyboard sometimes

For some of the even older games I find they run completely fine with my Flipstart clocked to 600MHZ which is great. So as you can see, the Flipstart is a great gaming device and continues to surprise me with what it can run.

The other game I am currently testing is World Of Warcraft which has already been proven to run very well.

By the way, did you do any performance test on your FS before compression and after compression? I'm just wondering how much of a performance hit you'll get when you compress the hard drive. Secondly, when you compressed your hard drive, did it bring it up to 60GB? Thanks for any information and insight that you can provide.

I haven't done any performance test comparisons between compressed and uncompressed NTFS drives. This is something I will have to look into when I get my new 60GB hard drive. I compressed the drive before I installed anything and compression levels vary between files so you won't see the drive as 60GB but you may well get almost 50% more room. I know this because on my PC I had almost 50% more space left after I compressed my existing gaming partition.

By the way, Youtube has two clips of Gamecam showing GTA SA and Swat 4 running on the Flipstart. I have nothing else to do a video from but Gamecam would not work with any of the Command & Conquer titles unfortunately.
