I have experienced this issue several times now where touchpad stops woking and mouse pointer freezes. I applied the latest driver from flipstart.com, but to no avail. I installed the latest from synaptics.com which I think was at 10.xx version. I have yet to see if this will fix it.
Has any experienced this issue at all?

I made a post a few days ago about this, and we seem to think it's the dinoboard (the Infopane) causing this. I was going to try to run dinoinstall again to see if that may help.

it happens to me too, it just stops working, reinstalling the drivers fixs the issue, i have the drivers on my desktop ready at all times just in case.
it happens once every2-3 months.

Ive yet to need a reinstall of the drivers to fix. a restart always works for me. Next time it happens going to plug in a usb keyboard see if i can kill the flipstart apps and restart them.
