I posted this as a response but thought it better as a new Topic
I personally ran these bench marks with Passmark 6.1
Everun Benchmark numbers:
Over All Passmark Rating = 165.1 Composite Average
CPU Mark = 271.3 Composite Average
2D Graphics Mark = 162.9 Composite Average
Memory Mark = 116.1 Composite Average
Disk Mark = 223.7 Composite Average
3D Grphics Mark = 28.6 Composite Average
ALSO here is the 901 EEEPC Numbers:
Over All Passmark Rating = 160.0 Composite Average
CPU Mark = 242.7 Composite Average
2D Graphics Mark = 165.0 Composite Average
Memory Mark = 223.2 Composite Average
Disk Mark = 107.8 Composite Average
3D Grphics Mark = 80.7 Composite Average
ALSO Here is the Kohjinsha SC Series numbers:
Over All Passmark Rating = 128.6 Composite Average
CPU Mark = 184.1 Composite Average
2D Graphics Mark = 49.3 Composite Average
Memory Mark = 149.0 Composite Average
Disk Mark = 204.0 Composite Average
3D Grphics Mark = 36.8 Composite Average
ALSO here is the SHARP UM1 series numbers:
Over All Passmark Rating = 127.0 Composite Average
CPU Mark = 190.7 Composite Average
2D Graphics Mark = 51.6 Composite Average
Memory Mark = 167.6 Composite Average
Disk Mark = 168.2 Composite Average
3D Grphics Mark = 37.3 Composite

Is that the everun note? If so, aren't those numbers very low compared to expectations?

Good one Orgwon! BTW, was the unit on mains or battery power? Does the test use the second CPU core?
Would anyone happen to have comparative Flipstart results?

It is the new Everun Note, with the CPU number so high I assume both cores are being utilized (i will check though). All benchmarks are with AC plugged in and all Vista except for the EEEPC running XP Home.
I posted FS numbers somewhere here a while back...

Downloaded and ran 6.1 on the Flipstart. Something not quite right here!
Passmark Rating = 238.5
CPU Mark = 283.2
2D Graphics Mark = 172.1
Memory Mark = 192.3
Disk Mark = 207.3
3D Graphics Mark = 59.1
The figures for the Raon Everun Note seem very low, I would have expected better CPU, and very much better 2D and 3D graphics! It is almost as though the unit was running in throttled down mode?

I ran the Passmark on the Flipstart and the Everun, one without and one with the SSD. I only ran the CPU test. I am not sure the test is reliable since the CPU test should be the same with or without a SSD. I ran the test a couple of times and each time I get different results. The listed numbers are the result from the first run. It does show that the CPU on the Everun is faster than on the Flipstart.
Flipstart Everun Everun ssd
CPU-Integer Math 20.9 30.3 36.3
CPU-Floating Point 71.3 116.6 201.9
CPU-Find Prime 85.6 75.5 85.5
CPU-SSE/3DNow! 584.4 620.6 758
CPU-Compression 586.1 871.1 1039.4
CPU-Encryption 3.83 6.3 7.5
CPU-Image Rotation 95.8 139.7 166.9
CPU-String Sorting 448 595.8 717.4
CPU Mark 163.1 196.6 242
PassMark Rating 44 53.1 65.4

This figures from this test seem to be all over the place. On my Flipstart with Antivirus etc running, I get:
CPU-Integer Math: 37.7
CPU-Floating Point: 123.6
CPU-Find Prime: 159.3
CPU-SSE/3DNow!: 977.0
CPU-Compression: 1062.2
CPU-Encryption: 6.9
CPU-Image Rotation: 173.7
CPU-String Sorting: 757.5
CPU Mark: 281.6
PassMark Rating: 76.0
Anther test is obviously required.

Do any folks have both the Flipstart and the Everun Note? I was going to get an Everun but if the performance is close to (or even less than) the Flipstart, I don't think I'll bother.

I have both the Flipstart and the Everun Note. The Everun is about 40% faster than the Flipstart in running applications. However it is slower in boot up, standby, and wake up from standby. I have the same hard drive samsung 60GB HS06THB on both computers. The Flipstart is more stable than the Everun. I use the Power Option to set the Everun to go to standby when the lid is closed. However when I open the lid I also need to press the power button for the Everun to wake up from standby unlike the Flipstart when I only need to open the lid. Sometime I have to go to the Power Option to change the setting on the Everun again since somehow its setting was changed. It never happens like that on any of my other computers. The Everun also freezes up more often than the Flipstart. However when I replace the hard drive on the Everun with a 32GB ssd, it still can wake up from standby. The Flipstart cannot wake up from standby with a ssd drive. The Everun operates most of the time with less fan noise and cooler than the Flipstart. I hope this help.

I agree with tknguyen, the Everun is a lot faster than the flipstart. The 2 speakers on the Everun are a lot louder and clearer. The wifi reception is also better on the Everun. However, I still like the touchpad and the keyboard on the flipstart…..This is why I am listing my Everun Note on ebay….the buy it now price is $700.
