I tried to solder extra USB on top of the FS ala TKNguyen.

But I have a problem "unidentified devise".

Any take on this one.

Before I solder the USB wires I touch the five wires of a USB cable with a flash drive on it to the five contact points on top of the FS to make sure it works. You should check if you connect the wires correctly.

I solder it w/o doing that =(

I'm doing it kinda modular way but only 4 wires. ( I did not use the ground because I think this is for a shielded cable.)

But now all USB (except the FS Camera) will always read unrecognize device.

Tk is it possible to provide a picture of your work ?
I don't know where to put the USB flash or where to solder the shield (ground)

I am out of town and I do not have my FS with me. I will try to take a picture and send it to you next week. However I do not think it will help you since I cover the contact points with black liquid tape. I did connect the shield of the USB cable to the ground of the FS.

Here what my problems:

I really have problem on where to put the USB flash drive (won't fit everywhere).
I think I also soldered to the right one (the closest USB contact to you is red +5V, white, green, shield, black ) I"m not sure if this one correct, because the FS did not detect the USB at all).

I wonder if the lid must be put back (closed) in order it to work.
