Hi all,
I don't know if anyone else has realized it but the Raon digital Vega is doing quite well for a device that has no built-in Wi-fi or Bluetooth. It sells at almost USD900.00 with 1/2 a Giga of RAM, and a 30GB HDD along with an entry level performance CPU.
I suddenly have a renewed interest in the Dualcor cPC which with its 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB DDR2 and 40GB HDD also has no built-in BT or Wifi but can support both USB and CF adapters while only selling for USD621.00 more. Engineering sample or not, I'm liking this idea.
Of course for that extra USD621.00 you also get dual CPUs and the ability to treat it as low power PDA when you aren't doing more than watching a few vids or listening to music, .7-inchs more screen real estate and built-in mic and speaker.
Not bad, not bad at all... now for linux on this thing...
