DOS Video Mode Not Supported

I was showing my OQO around the office today, and my buddy tried maximizing the command prompt window using <ALT><ENTER>. The display went screwy.
I contacted OQO support and was told that the OQO does not support DOS video mode. Does this mean that I can't play moon lander?
