Read the article some time ago, and I am in agreement (mostly) with it. I look forward to seeing if anything transpires in this regard. I have a vested interest in this type of device as I spent two years and a huge amount of money attempting to create just such a device.
I am not sure that such a device would be able to replace the OQO, purely from a size point of view. There seems to be the need for at least three classes of devices, super small, very small and small. (i.e. OQO, Psion and Fujitsu P1610) You will note that I have omitted the UMPC's from this, as I believe they will eventually fill a category such as "super smart phone".
We live in interesting times.
