I'm really looking forward to this. I think it's an improvement all around to the original UMPC's; better screen resolution, screen brightness, battery life, and cheaper price.

this thing is too big IMO, why not just buy a laptop?

It looks great, but wish it was smaller

Keyboard is too poor in my opinion. Samsung claim its as small as technology allows right now, but its bigger than the Sony u750p which is years old now and also runs Vista and a better processor.

I read on link that there is not even an enter/return key on the thing?!?

Edit: from the image it looks like it's inside the scroll wheel, just below the keypad area.

I seems like Vista is too much for this device, but is should run well on XP

I own the Q1 SSD, UX390N and soon to be getting the 02. The Q1 is an awful device. No keyboard, 800x480...only 1024x600 when interpolating and then the stylus needs to be recalibrated each time, and of course it is huge. I do like how you can touch the screen which you couldn't do with the oqo 01, but the 01 had a screen that worked great in direct sunlight whereas this one is awful. I can't really think of anything that makes this Q1 useful compared to the UX. The bluetooth works great though and there aren't any problems with the wifi...unlike the UX which battles with the Cingular software. etc...

The only thing I could see that they improved was the resolution. That keyboard looks awful and the oversized boarder around the screen is excessive and dated. HSDPA is nice though.

I do like the built-in stand in the back...it works great with an external keyboard on a table whereas the sony and oqo need something to hold it up...plus the 7 inch screen is easier to see on a table from a distance than the 4.5...so there are some perks but overall, I use the UX390N, which will probably get eBayed as soon as the OQO arrives.
