According to chippy over at OrigamiPortal, it looks like Raon Digital have been hard at work on a new and much improved UMPC. The Everun which looks like a much better looking Intel Ruby features AMD's new LX900 600MHz processor and a hybrid 60GB HDD+6GB SSD harddrive option. They have integrated the Bluetooth, Wifi and offer a WWAN option, auto screen pivot (think iPhone) and integrated 2MP camera.
Dynamism already has a product page up and from their specs looks like this pup will support voice Cellular functions and possibly 1GB of DDR2 as well if you get it from them.
My gripes?
[gripes]
1. Only 800x480 (*NATIVE* GenM ;-) ) resolution (so 8 months ago!)
2. After using sub 5-inch screened UMPCs 4.8-inches is cutting it close.
3. No 3D graphics support (but with 12hrs potential battery life and the ability to substitute it for my phone as well I may overlook that)
[/end gripe]
That's it! only three reasons I don't like it, but the reasons I do are quite compelling!
...and did I mention the promo video?
You can find the .wmv version here

Update:
Chippy from UMPC portal just posted this hands-on video and has a Q&A here.

Your first gripe is not valid - The following is from link , the Everun Spec page
Display4.8" Touch screen TFT LCD
800x480 Native resolution,
16.7M Color, 280cd / m2, 300:1 contrast ratio
Auto-Rotation / Auto-Brightness control
Zoom & Panorama : VGA up to 1680 x 1050 resolution
External display support : VGA up to 1920x1200
Display can be zoomed to totally unreadable size!

NATIVE...
that is what I refer to. Zooming if it's anything like the Vega is useless at any other rez (not sharp enough) unless you're just watching video. Native 1024x600 should be standard on any UMPC today.

diJ - 1024x600 on a 4.8" screen will not be readable by my poor eyes. (As you alluded to in your gripe #2)
Only thing it needs is an easy way to turn pages/scroll when reading in portrait mode. Would have really likeed to see scroll wheel/page up/down buttons where the optional camera is. Have to wait to see if the left/top buttons link can be retargeted for this.
Why only XP Home? Why not XP Pro/Tablet? Since people have put tablet on the Vega, I assume it will run better on Everun. Maybe Dynamism will offer this.

You must have the Everun confused with the COMPAL offfering. Everun runs WindowsXP. Ships with XP Home.
(FYI - I agree about Win CE)
I hope they get the supply of SSDs nailed down soon.

Why do i suffer confusion?
I am simply saying that PDAs have been unexciting for years - since i got a 640x480 DELL AXIM. The OS and MS software is poor at best, and the PPC SDK is rubbish - no form of backwards compatibility at all. I wrote my own .html.gz file viewer because IE is poor.
With an everrun - no more WINCE/PPC/SDK - i can just use javapscript, perl, C, C++ or any language i like and debug on a main screen pc and then copy the .exe over. No more activesync rubbish or WIFI rubbish of a handheld.
Plus - the device can replace my ipod, watch films etc. The everrun is a PDA with WinXP and full blown HD size on it. I cannot wait.
I will never look at a PDA again and say "Coo!".
BTW my first handheld cost me 1000GBP for 2MB of RAM.
Am drooling waiting for this little baby!

I wonder why Dynamism does not have the Everun model with built-in 3g module? link

No one has the 3G model(s) - Hugo Ortega has a demo in Australia, but even his company (Tegatech) does not have them for sale yet. When it does arrive, it will add approx $500 to the price.
