To all whom might be interested:
I really jumped the gun when I wrote that vista on the oqo was painful. I restored my system with the OEM disks a couple of days ago and am very happy about the installation. It seems that the combination of antivirus (avira), VLC (Some issue with the display mode) and windows mail (LARGE number of files) was slowing my machine up. I am not saying that Vista is without problems but in my oqo it is working great. Good movie and music experience using windows media and usign Kaspersky as an ativirus.Web browsing is awesome using the zoom buttons.
I would not recommend chosing XP tablet over Vista after using both sistems on the OQO 02.
