I've just had exactly that. Track stick works, external keyboard works, Wacom pen works, but the keyboard is dead. Backlight on keyboard comes on, but Shift, Ctrl, Fn and Alt no longer light up and none of the keys do anything.

OK I just called the OQO support number 00-1-877-676-6688. I got directly through to a guy who was really helpful and fixed the problem. It involved resetting some BIOS settings and re-installing the OQO Manager software. Outstanding customer service. Thanks OQO.

I hand the same problem but solved it using the OQO Knowledge Base solution:
Boot into the BIOS and perform the following operation.
You must have an external USB keyboard to do this.
Take the USB keyboard and connect it directly to your OQO; do not use a hub or go though the docking station.
After you have connected the keyboard directly to the OQO USB port, restart your computer and repeatedly hit the DELETE key on the external keyboard
This will boot you into the blue BIOS screen. From there:
BIOS > System Configuration > Restore OQO EC Defaults > NEXT BOOT
ESC to main menu
Write to CMOS and Exit
This will reset your EC values to default settings, which should fix your keyboard
This BIOS setting will reset to DISABLE, so your don't have to go back into BIOS
Your keyboard should now be fixed.
Its only supposed to happen with older models but mine is brand new with the latest version of OQO Manager.
