That's too cool. I like the suggested use of "camping." I've taken my old InFocus projector camping twice...watched National Velvet on a screen hung between two spruce trees.
Personally, I'd hold out for 1024 x 768 native res. and a little more brightness. But the idea of using LEDs for the light source is awesome. No more motors turning cooling fans and color wheels. I might just spring for one, just for the novelty of it...maybe eBay it later when the resolution and brightness comes up, as it inevitably will.

Yeh, for the price is it worth it. AND the led bulbs last for 10,000 hours instead of the very low life of most projector bulbs that have a hefty price tag. So the fact that it is LED pays for itself many times! I was wondering about using it with the OQO too. If it's native is 800x600 then it should work well and it is nice that it can go to xga. Most projectors that i have seen do one or the other.

Wow, I received a phone call from Mitsubishi responding to my email. It was an amazing phone call. The person was extremely knowledgable, professional and acted as if I was someone who was interested in purchasing a million dollar product. Pretty amazing stuff. Anyway, she put me on an email list and said that the pocket projector may be out as soon as December 1, 2005.
