It's just too pricey for a phone for most people. I think what Apple should have done is sell it for $299 and offer ways to do widget add-ons, i.e. don't provide all the applications, make people buy them like they want people to buy their iTunes songs. Make it to where you can make a profit not on the hardware but on the applications...kinda like Xbox and PS3. $650 to $700 (taxes) for the 8gb iphone is a bit steep even for people making killer salaries, they just see it as too expensive for a phone.

If the x7501 works for me then it'll make me pounds lighter and thousands of dollars richer...all those extra batteries and chargers that I don't have to carry around."
