As with the flipstart, what is the voltage of the ac adapter on the OQO?

For the OQO 01+, the outputs are 4.8 VDC at 2.5 A and 4.3 VDC at 2.0 A. I am not clear why two values are given.

3.7V for the OQO 02. link
Neil Balthaser's review at link mentions he uses the tekkeon with it using the cigarette adapter, since it has a proprietary connector.

For the OQO 02 the battery may say 3.7 volts. But the output of the charger will more than likely be a higher voltage. Most electronics are that way.

hi, i recently acquired an oqo from ebay
when i go to charge it, it doesnt do anything
can anyone help me as i'm stuck completely on this
the battery gauge doesnt flash
but when i plug in the power cable i see the unit's keyboard flash
thanks.

Is there any buzzing noise when you plug it?

Try this, remove the battery but plug the Adapter try to power on the OQO.

theres a buzzing noise coming from the power brick
still the same thing happens when i remove the battery
i plug the power cable into the left hand 5 pin port
the keyboard flashes for a second
it's a green flash
and the power button doesnt turn the unit on
