Nice hack JKK... You beat me to it!

I was going to publish a very similar mod using a Sierra Wireless 875U HSDPA modem. Unfortunately, lack of time kept me from doing this in time for the holidays

as the Linux based machine the EEE is, its only appropriate that its getting this mods by JKKmobile, why you ask? You figure out what Linux and JKKmobile have in common

On the ASUS EEE and Linux, how many of us would've been so interested in the EEE if it came with XP or Vista and thereby having $$$ added to the price?

I think despte of what OS we run on our EEEs a lot of its success so far needs to be given to Linux keeping the price of it down, not to mention gives you a non MS enviroment which seems to be so fashionable nowdays.

I was waiting for one of the sellers to sell it with XP so I didn't have to try it myself, but no luck. I will be adding an OEM version of XP Pro SP2 this weekend. I did notice that NewEgg was selling the Eee with and OEM version of XP Home SP2 disk. OEM at least keeps the price down a bit.
