...Model 03 CPU???

So let's see... I'm scheming to buy a Model 03 for a donation to the OpenBSD foundation (as long as I can help port the OS to the device). I have a plot to pin-prick the folks a Xen.org to get virtualization hoppin on Isaiah too. By the time we get everything working, Model 03+ should be ready, I can buy that for myself, run a virtualized Vista 64-bit OS (when in dire straights) within an OpenBSD OS, and the world will be mine!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

wait... what's this... a flaw in my dastardly plan? The world will be saved by 1 or 2GB memory brick walls? <sigh> My plans foiled again. I'll get you brick wall! (in 2010).

this would be a good thing, but OQO needs to stop ignoring a proper video chip.

one of the reasons I didnt buy an oqo was their loud a$$ fan.

A 64-bit chip is no good if the OS and also applications do not support it. Now while the OS that would be shipped with such a model will likely support it...the majority of applications will not - give it another five to ten years on the consumer level...then perhaps.

OQO should just hop on the Intel roadmap now, do whatever is necessary for compatibility of their current internals to make it so (if needed), and as said above...add some mini-muscle to the video/graphic demands.
