Those of you with Vista Business on the FS, any of you guys see occaisional freezing (mouse won't move, keyboard lights up but not responsive) where the only recourse is to reboot by holding down the power button?

Happens to me every few days... Installed SP1 and still occured again last night. Wondering if it may be a driver issue.

Thanks!

It's been happening to me in XP. you get no mouse track stick or keyboard when the slideshow/Dinoboard or what ever ya want to call the small screen on the front locks up. It controls the mice and keyboard piss it off and you have to restart. I know windows is alive and well you just cant get keyboard and mice to respond. I've had it happen just sitting overnight, I think it was outlook sync. I've also had it happen 3X when logging a car with some tools I have. So I cant say for sure what cause's the lock up. But I can say for sure its slideshow/dino locking up.

Wonderful.... Never thought about it being the Dinoboard.

I've disabled the Flipstart COM add-in in Outlook.

Crossing fingers that it will help

You need to install service pack 2 from the flipstart.com support site.

Installing SP2 is one of the first things I did.

did you install it over service pack 1?

Honestly I had no way to tell what service pack was installed on delivery, so I installed the drivers and SP2.

I did the same.....reported ver#'s are useless to me.

I've now had it happen two more times. I've also got 4 bluescreens now with the snap camera. Just normal use click to take a pic and blue screen. I cant help but think we are on our own with drivers/software I dont see them doing any updates.

You should probably run the whole driver install package again.. Running the dinoinstaller.exe seems to have taken care of freezing (it's been 3 days).

I don't have the camera yet, so no clue. I can say Vista has been pretty stable, except for the freezing thing.
