Was having some trouble with the trackpad being noticed. Tried driver re-installs, etc. with no luck.
Thought I would check the FS knowledgebase, and saw an entry which suggested removing the battery for 10 seconds to recalibrate the trackpad.
I was skeptical but at my wits end, so I gave it a try.
Guess what? Mouse pad has sprung back to like!!!
Might be a good shot if there are cranky things going on.

If you got one of the accessory packs, you should swap batteries every week or so to keep the use balanced anyway. Just do it when the FS is not plugged in.

I've been thinking about getting the pack with the slim battery.. What kind of battery life are you guys getting with the slim one?

I have heard people say they get 1 hour with the Slim battery. I don't bother with the Slim since I use my Flipstart for gaming. I got the extended battery accesory pack.

if the CPU and screen are spun down, and the fan isn't cranking too hard,
maybe 65-80 minutes.
If CPU is pegged, and its running full-throttle, closer to 45-50m.

I have two extended batteries but I went ahead and purchased the slim battery because I figure that sooner or later, the extended batteries will run out of juice and then the extended batteries will be just dead and useless weight. By then I can use the slim battery and eventually purchase one of those universal batteries.

I found the slim battery fine for my 80 minute commute, I have the power in max battery and the wifi off.
